Our DEQSTER MAX screen protector is manufactured using state-of-the-art laser technology in compliance with the highest quality standards. The cleaning cloth included in the scope of delivery ensures a dust- and dirt-free display in advance so that you can apply your screen protector without bubbles or dust.
The electrostatic charge guarantees secure adhesion and easy, residue-free removal of the protective glass.

  • Composition: Tempered glass for display protection often consists of silicate glass, which is strengthened by heat treatment and chemical processes. This is usually aluminosilicate glass.
  • Manufacturing process: The manufacturing process involves applying heat to the glass, followed by rapid cooling to achieve a higher density and strength. This process is known as tempering.
  • Resistance to scratches: Tempered glass offers excellent scratch resistance, protects the display from everyday wear and tear and prevents scratches from keys, coins and other objects that are often kept near the smartphone or tablet.

Protective glasses are designed so that they neither affect the touchscreen sensitivity nor impair the display quality. They are highly transparent and offer clear and responsive touchscreen operation. Screen protectors are usually made thin to ensure that they are close to the screen and do not interfere with the contact between the user's finger and the actual touchscreen

Installation is usually straightforward. Screen protectors are custom-made to fit the device precisely. Most screen protector kits include detailed step-by-step instructions that you can follow. The difficulty of installation can vary depending on the manufacturer and model, but it is generally a process that most users can complete successfully.

To remove a broken screen protector, you can carefully use a flat, sharp object. However, be careful not to damage the actual display. If the glass is badly damaged or difficult to remove, we recommend professional removal to avoid further damage. Use gloves to protect yourself from sharp edges.

The hardness of glass is often measured on the Mohs scale, which was developed by Friedrich Mohs in 1812. The scale ranges from 1 (very soft) to 10 (very hard). The higher the value on the Mohs scale, the harder the material.

H9 to H9.5: Gorilla Glass, which is used in many smartphones, generally has a hardness grade of H9 to H9.5 on the Mohs scale.

H7 to H8: Everyday glass, such as window glass or glass bottles, has a hardness grade of H7 to H8.

H6.5: Quartz glass used in laboratory equipment and optical applications has a hardness of H6.5

If you have applied the screen protector incorrectly or are unhappy with the result, there are a few steps you can take:

  • Remove and reapply: In some cases, you can carefully lift off the screen protector and reapply it if you act quickly and make sure it is still clean. Use a special card tool or your fingernails to carefully peel the glass off the screen.
  • Remove bubbles: If there are air bubbles under the screen protector glass, you can try to gently push them out with a soft cloth or a card tool. Work from the center of the screen outwards to expel the air bubbles.
  • Remove dust: If dust or dirt has gotten under the display protection glass, you can try to carefully remove it with a dust absorber or an adhesive strip before reattaching the glass.
  • Professional helpIf you are having difficulty correcting the screen protector yourself, you can contact a professional who has experience in installing screen protectors. In some cases, specialist stores or cell phone repair services also offer assistance with installation.
