Questions and answers
Why 100 + 40 W and not 65 + 65 W?
Because a MacBook Pro draws up to 96 W. At 65 W it charges more slowly. At 100 W it charges at full speed, and the iPad still gets 40 W.
Do I need a special cable?
For more than 100 W, yes: a USB-C cable rated 240 W. With a standard 100 W cable the MacBook Pro charges at up to 100 W.
Does it fit in a charging cart?
The housing measures 75 × 75 × 36 mm. In closed carts, make sure there is enough ventilation.
Does it get hot?
GaN with soft switching keeps heat build-up low, and the no-load protection saves power when no device is connected. The device is GS-certified.
Is a cable included?
No. USB-C cables rated 240 W are available separately.
Which plug does it have?
A fixed plug, depending on the version: EU, UK or US. Please select the version when ordering.
